W3 Engineering Inc. is built on the concept that every project from project development to design development to the final construction inspection is a team effort that is made successful through collaboration and open communication between owners, design professionals, and contractors. W3 Engineering brings personal experience as both a contractor and design professional for various school districts spanning from Jackson and Bay County to Escambia and Santa Rosa County. As a mechanical and energy engineering firm, W3 strives to promote energy efficiency in all areas that make life cycle cost sense to do so. W3 Engineering Inc. recognizes that each project and each owner has priorities, limitations, and requirements that make that project unique. With oversmall-fl-board-of-engineers-seal 10 years of Energy Management Control systems experience and another 10+ years of Mechanical engineering experience, W3 Engineering Inc. is positioned in the market as the leader in innovative and energy efficient design for facilities ranging from recreation centers to industrial low temperature refrigeration facilities.

In addition to design services W3 Engineering Inc. provides LEED consulting, Energy Audits, and has utilized the DOE Energy Star Portfolio Manager and ASHRAE’s Building Energy Quotient rating system for projects across the southeast. W3 Engineering Inc’s principal mechanical engineer was responsible for organizing the first Green Apple Day of Service project in Pensacola which took place at the Roy Hyatt Environmental center. Jay Wells has also served as the local chapter president of the USGBC and continued as a board member for over 5 years as all the local Florida chapters merged into one single Florida chapter.
